Hiking at the El Caminito del Rey
This is called "The trail of kings". Try out a fantastic walk, where you go through small cliffs in the El Chorro gap. The walk is 8km long and takes you through some fantastic landscape including over the hanging bridge 100 m up in air. It is recommended that you book your tickets well in advance as this is a very popular attraction.

Shopping
If you like markets, there is good one every Friday in Sabanillas on the beach promenade near the Lidl roundabout. They mainly sell clothes, shoes, bags, spices, fruit and veg.
The market is open every Friday from about 10:00 till 15:00
There is also a couple af markets in Estepona. Sundays in the port and Wednesdays in the old bull fighting ring.
La Cañada Shopping Center
In direction towards Estepona you will find the big shopping centre La Cañada where they sell all the well known brands.
Boat trips
If you want to go dolphin watching, fishing or snorkeling, go down to Puerto de la Duquesa and talk to one of the local tour operators. They should be able to arrange a trip that will fit your criterias at a reasonable price.
Benahavis hiking & swimming trip
If you like a pysical challenge combined with checking out some beautiful nature, so take a trip to Benahavis, which is a river in a gorge.
You park your car in the big carpark and walk 1.5 km up the road to te start, where you can jump off the cliff into the rock pools below, if your not in to cliff jumping you can just slide down into the rock pools to begin your swim. On some parts of the swim you have to walk over rocks and for other parts you have to swim through small passages.
It is a fantastic experience, it is recommended that you wear a pair of swimming shoes / old trainers & a t-shirt to prevent sunburn and to avoid cutting your feet up.
It is a fantastic experience and only a 25 minute drive from the apartment.
Golf
If you are glad for golf, so the Spanish sunshine coast is perfect for you, there is golf courses all the way up the coastline. If you haven't booked from home don't worry, you will find a price list / list of the courses in the apartment. It is cheaper to take contact to one of the booking agencies instead of booking yourself. There is also a golf shop in the local port in "Puerto de la Duquesa" where they will be happy to help.
